What steps do I need to take to ship a new order to a customer?

With the Shopify Integration:

(1) Receiving a New Order: If your e-commerce website is built on Shopify and you have implemented the Decovo integration with Shopify, then all new Decovo orders will seamlessly come through your Shopify shop. Orders will be tagged “Decovo.”

(2) Processing the Order: Process the Decovo order just as you would any other order coming directly to your online shop. Your time to process the order will begin on the day that the order comes through Shopify. Keep in mind that you set the processing time for each product when the product listing was added to Decovo.

(3) Shipping the Order: If you have opted to use shipping labels provided by Decovo -- rather than your own tracked shipping labels -- then the order’s Pre-Paid USPS shipping label will be included as a “Note” on the order in Shopify. Please print out the label. This label must be used to ship the package, as it includes the order’s tracking information. Once you have printed out the pre-paid shipping label (either on a sticky label or on a piece of paper), please affix it to the outside top of the package. Please print out the customer's Order Receipt, located in the “Notes” section on the order in Shopify, and include the receipt inside the package. Please do not include any personal promotional materials in the product shipment. When preparing your products for shipment, please ensure that your products are packed for safe transit so that goods arrive to customers in excellent condition. We will automatically be notified as soon as the package has been scanned and received by the carrier.

(4) After the Order Has Shipped: You will be paid within 15 business days of the customer receiving the order (all orders are tracked in transit).

 

Without the Shopify Integration:

(1) Receiving a New Order: When a new order comes through, Decovo will contact you via email and SMS with details of the order. There's no pesky online portal for you to navigate and manage. If you have opted to use shipping labels provided by Decovo -- rather than your own tracked shipping labels -- then the order’s Pre-Paid USPS shipping label will be included at the bottom of the email. Rest assured, Decovo pre-authorizes the customer’s credit card during checkout and thoroughly checks the customer’s information with Decovo’s third party fraud prevention provider in advance of passing any orders over to you.

(2) Processing the Order: Reply to Decovo’s message with “Processing Order” to confirm that you will process the order. Your time to process the order will begin on the day that Decovo’s email is sent to you. Keep in mind that you set the processing time for each product when the product listing was added to Decovo.

(3) Shipping the Order: Print out the package’s shipping label.If you have opted to use shipping labels provided by Decovo -- rather than your own tracked shipping labels -- then this label must be used to ship the package, as it includes the order’s tracking information. Once you have printed out the shipping label (either on a sticky label or on a piece of paper), please affix it to the outside top of the package. Please print out the customer's Order Receipt that was emailed to you and include it inside the package. Please do not include any personal promotional materials in the product shipment. When preparing your products for shipment, please ensure that your products are packed for safe transit so that goods arrive to customers in excellent condition. If you have questions or concerns while preparing your products for shipment, contact us at support@shopdecovo.com. Once you are ready to ship the package, please drop it off at your local USPS or USPS blue collection box (or other carrier if you are using your own shipping labels). We will automatically be notified as soon as the package has been scanned and received.

(4) After the Order Has Shipped: You will be paid within 15 business days of the customer receiving the order (all orders are tracked in transit).
